Data collected
- User account: email address, display name (if provided).
- Selfie: transmitted in memory to the Google Gemini API to generate the portrait. The selfie is never stored on Selfie Pro servers or in our storage space. It may be kept locally in your browser during the creation flow, then deleted when the flow is reset.
- Generated portrait: stored temporarily (90 days maximum) to allow download, then automatically deleted.
- Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4, with consent): anonymous identifier, pages visited, session duration. Retention 14 months.
- Meta Pixel advertising (with consent): IP address, user-agent, Meta identifiers (_fbp, _fbc), URLs of visited pages, conversion events (visit, add-to-cart, initiate checkout, registration, conversion, contact). Meta's Conversion API uses available technical signals; email and user ID are not processed server-side without authenticated verification. Retention 13 months on Meta's side.
- Enterprise contact: company name, business email, message. Purpose: respond to a commercial or operational request. Legal basis: legitimate interest or pre-contractual measures depending on the request. Recommended retention: 24 months after the last useful exchange.
- User feedback: message, related page, email and user ID if you are signed in, technical user-agent. Purpose: improve the service and process reported bugs. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Recommended retention: 24 months.
- Security, quotas and anti-abuse: technical identifiers, generation/download counters, used access codes, rate limits and necessary technical logs. Purpose: prevent abuse, protect the Gemini API and preserve service integrity. Legal basis: legitimate interest and service security.
Processing by artificial intelligence
Your selfie is processed by the Google Gemini API to generate a professional portrait. It transits in memory on Selfie Pro infrastructure, then is sent to Google Gemini. Explicit consent and age confirmation are required before any upload. The preview and download pages disclose that the image is generated or modified by AI; the HD file also contains AI transparency XMP metadata when the generation is performed after this update.
Data transfers outside the European Union
Data stored by Selfie Pro is hosted in European Google Cloud regions, mainly europe-west4 (Netherlands), with some technical functions in another EU region. Processing of your selfie by the Google Gemini API may involve a transfer or temporary caching on servers located outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. This transfer is governed by Google's applicable contractual safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and Google's Data Processing Addendum.
If you accepted advertising cookies, data collected by the Meta Pixel is transmitted to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (EU controller, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2) and then to Meta Platforms Inc. in the United States. This transfer is governed by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (under which Meta is certified) and by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Rights of access, rectification, portability, objection and erasure
From the "My account" page, you can export the data linked to your account and request deletion of your account. Once completed, deletion is irreversible and removes data associated with the account, generation history, stored files, feedback linked to your account and contact requests associated with the account email when technically attachable. If a technical step fails, the request is not presented as completed.
For any request regarding your data, contact us at contact@selfiepro.fr.
You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): cnil.fr.
Marketing communications
When you sign up, you can choose to receive emails from Selfie Pro (news, promotional offers). This consent is optional and is not required to use the service.
Legal basis: consent (article 6.1.a GDPR, article L.34-5 of the French Post and Electronic Communications Code).
You can withdraw your consent at any time from your "My account" page or via the unsubscribe link in each email. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Your email address is kept for marketing prospecting purposes as long as your consent is active. If withdrawn, the email is no longer used for that purpose. The user account remains active regardless of this preference.
